My life has been forever changed...and i've gotten the chance to do things that i've never thought of, and realize truly realize that my life has been one great blessing right after the other... | This weekend one weekend that i wont forget. I spent the weekend again
in RGV (South Texas) as i have for the past month...this time we
held a youth camp at Queen of the Universe Church in San Benito.
At first things were going all wrong...the service team members were
late, and the schedule was flipflopped we we can accomodate what was
actually happening. It was difficult to keep focused on Christ because
it just seemed as if everything around me was falling apart.
Then a small voice inside me reminded me to pray....and wow...those few
minutes in prayer helped me turn from a worried/anxouis person to
someone ready to do ANYTHING for Christ...especially to bring Him to
the youth who came to the camp. the main reason i was here...
So a few minutes after i finished "refocusing" myself to
Christ....guess what! the rest of team members started to arrive.
Praise the Lord! The weekend was one of the best ever, and you could
really see change in the whole group, from service team members to the
participants. I believe God had everything layed out, and was just
waiting for us to call upon Him to take charge. yes. God took charge.
This weekend, the weeks past, and He is in charge of my future, please
remind me from time to time....
where ever He'll take me...i will go. I dont know why i havent come to RGV earlier.
here is a picture of the youth on sunday after mass...arent they amazing!
